Teachers, would you deal with bullying after Christmas break?
I'm a 16 year old girl and I have been getting bullied a lot in school the past 5 years. It is being dealt with by my year head/vice principal/principal but when one stops another starts like a domino effect. Before the break there was bullying going on with a boy in my class who had already been spoken to and he was warned that if he continued his parents would be brought in. I didn't inform my year head as I didnt want to burden him the day before the break. Also over the break cyber bullying started over ask.fm from boys in my year one of which did it last year and warned if he continued he'd be suspended. But is it too late to inform my year head about this after the break? thanks

Not too clear on what you mean by "year head" but I suspect you have an adviser who oversees you at your school. My answer to you is that it is NEVER too late to report bullying of any sort. There are no rules or statutes of limitations on making a complaint against a bully. If you are being bullied then you must it report to someone in authority at your school at the very next opportunity that presents itself. If it is not handled in an effective way (iow, if it doesn't cease) then you must report it until it does cease. Why haven't you spoken with your parents? You must inform them of exactly what is happening. They should support you and demand that this be stopped. In the meantime, I would suggest that you stay away from sites like ask, twitter and the like. You are only setting yourself up for more of the same abuse. Remember that you are not a burden to your school administration. You are the reason for their employment.
