Has anyone made money buying fiverr gigs?

Hey everyone I just wanted to ask everyone a quick question has anyone ever made money recently on fiver just buying gigs not selling gigs? I have heard alot of people making money as an affiliate marketer and thinking I can make a couple hundred dollars a month.So I spent money hiring people promote my link to twitter fans and generating traffic and increasing my rank. And its been 5 days and I didn't see one cent. I'm not complaing I just want to know is it satarated because fiver is very popular everywhere.I tried to look up videos but they ether tell you how to sell gigs or are outdated which makes me question my choices. I'm not sure if I'm not doing something right or not pacient but I just want to know why. I know we are in a recession thanks to Obama's failures but it feels like a triple dip recession.
