Yes.. you can get investors by making a profit. You can't fake a profit either because that would backfire.

Can you get a simplified version of the network up and running? To get financing I think you need to show investors that there will be a demand for your service and that you have a business model in place to generate income. Without these two factors, you may have a hard time. Age is *not* the limiting factor here. There are many, many successful teen entrepreneurs these days.

ABSOLUTELY, i think it's fantastic that you are only 16 and have such a drive and good work ethic at such a young age, you will be very successful and very wealthy in life if you keep dreaming, never give up and continue on the way you are, the biggest piece of advice i can give you, and i cant stress it enough, you will always have fails, hit walls and dead ends in business and life, but never give up, keep going DON'T GIVE UP, otherwise you'll always wonder what could have been, you will always get where you want to go in the long run no matter how bumpy the ride, so hang on tight, perseverance is key to everything in life. good luck Big Grin

First, your idea/website will need to gain traction (meaning that you will need to build a real user database of 10,000 or more).

Then you will need to network with other successful people in order to make contacts. Angel investors usually invest in those who are referred to them by others that they know.

The networking is the most important part.... it will benefit you on this venture and all of your future endeavors.

Find out what coffee shops, restaurants and other venues are frequented by investors. Mingle. Become known.

Lastly, send out press releases to local media to become known as well.
