My BFF has the biggest crush on this guy in one of our classes. He doesn't have a relationship up on Facebook. We know he used to date this girl from another school but she hasn't been commenting or liking any of his statuses lately and there are no pictures of them up lately. My BFF checked the girl he used to date twitter and some of her tweets have been stuff like "I've loved and I've lost"; "when you see him, hold your middle finger high and let him know what he's missing; "relationships end because the person stops doing the things he did to get you in the first place"; and "if you're single it just means that no one out there is good enough for you". Does this sound like the broke up based on this information? My BFF wants to ask him out(: thanks loves!

Yes, it sounds like they broke up. To be sure, your BFF should get to know him a little and ask him. That way, if he IS in a relationship, your BFF won't seem like a man-stealer.
