How can I get people to support my film project?
This is my campaign pitch for my film in the making: http://indiegogo.com/OMAYRA I just published my campaign three days ago.

I have a Twitter account, Blogger, Facebook, and soon I will open a Tumblr account. But I can't seem to get people to either support or spread the word about this film. Any ideas? and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :-)

You can put it on Facebook but instead of making a page about it, make it an event and invite everyone in your list. This way, they'll be forced to look at your project. Also, instead of making a long description, you can just put the link of your film and a short description. MAKE THE PICTURE EYE-CATCHING. Oh, and make the event public so everyone can see it. Smile (This is what we did when our professor told us that if we get 1000 people to attend our event, we'll get an A)

If that doesn't work, you can go to YouTube and go to the Most Watched videos and leave your link in the comments. Example: (This video is so cool! Just like my newest film! <add link>)

PLAN C: Go to Yahoo! Messenger and send everyone a group message. Don't make it sound like its a group message. Make it sound personal. Like, "Hey! How are you? I haven't talked to you in a while! I have been busy doing my latest film! Can you please please please check it out for me? <add link> Thank you so much! I owe you one, friend (or whatever you call your friends) Smile"

PLAN D: Go to public chat rooms and promote your film. Talk to them for a while then ask them to visit your campaign. This is time consuming but you're sure they'll go to your page.

This is all I can think of. I'll let you know if I think of more ideas. Hope this helps! Smile
