How do sites like orkut and hi5 make money???I mean they dont even endorse any website or product like yahoo mail or hotmail do...

A lot of the bigger companies will add lots of free stuff till they get a ton of traffic then start selling items or ads or what ever other ideas they can come up with, it's all about creativity/ VS Traffic.
