Windows Live Movie Maker is not working....?
hey there! My Windows Live Movie Maker hasn't been working for a while now.
First off- it started with a yellow exclamation over videos. This would happen very often and i would have to restart the editing process. This happened for a couple weeks. Eventually, i thought i could reinstall it in case of any updates, bugs, etc. I reinstalled/downloaded it from the Microsoft website. This time, it opened but soon said "Windows Live Movie Maker has stopped working". Now, it won't even open before this message appears.
So... a few questions...
1.) Is something wrong with my computer or software?
2.) Is it possible to fix this?
3.) Can i work on Windows Live Movie Maker again?
I have a Windows 7, Dell laptop, btw.
-Thanks in advance

Okay, when you put the video files on your computer, have you been moving them around after uploading them into WMM? That could be a problem. (or deleting them for that matter)

Trying to run HD videos through it, when your computer is not set to edit, work with or view HD files.

Hello, I am Nitika from the Dell Social Media outreach team

To avoid this kind of error we have to install latest video card driver version that suits your system.
We can try installing the video driver from the below mentioned link

Plesae click on the below mentioned link >click on Change product >select operating system >check under the VIDEO option

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/e...bsd&~ck=mn

or we can uninstall the movie maker & reinstall that again and for reinstalling the movie maker please use the below mentioned link

It would be great if I can get your service tag also so that I can check your order details and give you the correct driver if required.

And you can find the service tag

**on the bottom of the laptop on the white sticker
**it’s a seven digit alphanumeric code which ends with BS or number 1.

If in case you do face any challenges in the process, please feel free to contact me directly by sending me a reply to this blog.
We would recommend you do not post your private information on a public forum.

Thanks & Regards
