Is facebook virus free so I can play farmville?

It gives you those options because Farmville and similar games will often post things on your and your friends' walls regarding activity in the game, and it needs your permission to do this. The only time you need to be leery of viruses is if a fan or "like" page wants you to join, then invite all your friends in order for something to work or if you get a message/comment from a friend that looks unusual such as "check out this video on utube ur in it!!1!."
