Help with online relationship? How to advance, heart-ache?
This guy and I met in an online random chat. We talked for 3 hours and then decided to add each other on facebook. Fast forward 3 months and we've been talking, skyping, and playing games together every day since. We live like 6 hours away from each other, and we are both shut-in geeks and we virtually hang out together more than people in real life. I don't know if are "something" or just friends, or how do define that? If we lived in the same town we would probably be bf/gf because we would actually go on physical dates, but we don't. It's all too complicated. We complement each other on hair, clothes, etc, etc, but how do I know if that is friendship or more? I'm not saying we would suddenly be a couple and try and meet, but it does ache my heart knowing the only guy I like lives far away. I think it would ache less if I knew how he feels, I don't want to straight-up ask because it could ruin or friendship. Please give me some advice, I desperately need it.
ps we're both 20

Don't have an online relationship. It never ends well.

Don't jump to any 'title' about your friendship until you actually meet the person. What may seem great, warm and fuzzy over the internet or Skype may be a whole different situation when you meet in person and you may find the feelings are just not there. Enjoy your friendship and make arrangements to see each other and find out how much of a connection you actually have.

OMG.....
This is the proof that all computers should be burned
you live in cyber-space...!!! you and 500 million others....thank heavens i will be dead in the future and will not have to deal with where your generation are headed...
Get out in the real world and that sort of sh..it will not happen..
But for what it is worth - heres my ideas for you.....
Make the move and ask her out before it is toolate...don't let distance be a factor...There is an old saying...... Don't wait for the ship to come to shore, row out and meet it....
Come on dude, get off your computer arse and make some effort... You can do it... and never let your kids near a computer...make them play sport and throw stones at each other ...
good luck
