How do people put the transparent lines on a Facebook cover photo?
Okay, so I make cover photos on Facebook and I've seen these lines in a few places but I don't know how to do them.
Here's an example: http://www.facebook.com/JustBeingAWildTeen The blue/green and black lines are faded. Does anyone know what software/website you use to do them? Thanks in advance! Ads |

There are many ways to get that effect.simply it can be done using layers and transparency in photoshop.

You could do this in most decent graphics editors. Just make a new layer at the top of the image, use the rectangular select tool to select a horizontal line/rectangle, fill it with a colour and then reduce the opacity of the layer (reducing opacity makes it see-through). This will make a line that is slightly translucent.
Note: On some editors, you will have to increase the transparency instead of reducing the opacity. |
