Yes and no.

Yes we're reall, but no we're not called the illuminati. We go by a a totally different name, one that really is secret. The illuminati thing, just like the new world order, was made up by someone who wasn't a member.

We also don't use the Evil Egyptian Eyeball as our symbol, that too was someone else. That's the Freemasons and ancient Egyptians, not us. Same thing with the triangles and stars, that's just something somebody made up because it looks cool.

And get this, we're not as involved in everything as you'd think. Oh I know, I've heard all the rumours and theories too: We own the music business, we do mind control, secret surveillance, alien technology... you name it we control it according to some people. We actually can do some of that, but we don't do it much. You wouldn't believe how much it costs to do that stuff, and we don't have unlimited money. That's also a myth.

Nope, we're not brainwashing pop stars or feeding you subliminal messages on MTV. We're just a bunch of boring guys who are secretly governing the world (well, most of it) and its economy from the shadows. We don't need a bunch of elaborate secret surveillance and goofy symbols to do that, we usually just stick to the basics.

All those theories about us are fun, but think for a minute: Would we really do everything the hard way? And then leave a huge trail of breacrumbs so everyone could figure it out? Why would we do that? Exactly. That's why we don't shut down all those truther websites!
