my twitter was suspended yesterday. has anyone ever been suspended? please help

There is no set amount of time; it lasts until staff decides to reinstate it. You might want to check the HELP page about it:

There is no set amount of time. Unfortunately you will have to wait until they make a decision about your account. You could also try emailing them to see what the status is.
