I don't know what to do anymore? I am sooo confused!?

I really like this guy and think he I cute.we have great conversations and he even said he thinks I'm pretty. So, you'd think that he likes me since we talked like we do. Wrong. I saw how on his twitter, he says he doesn't like anyone but sometimes he thinks about a girl... I want to tell him I like him but I don't know if I'll get rejected. I think he's gonna be like " I don't know you well enough." "Lets just be friends" " I don't like you" or " I was just joking . I like someone else. Not you." I keep playing that scenario In my mind. I want to tell him today how I feel. He's really nice but Im Still scared of getting rejected. What should I do? And what should I say if he rejects me? ( his family has been friends with mine for 60 years by the way so being mean is out of the question.)
