What does it mean when people say, "Ima put you on my team"?
People on Twitter and Facebook are always saying they're going to "put someone on their team" but I don't know what it means. Are they saying the person is a hoe? I know they are not referring to an athletic team. Please help me!!

Doesn't it just mean that they like that person, they think they've got a lot in common?
Why on earth would it mean they thought somebody was a 'hoe'?
