How to forget about a girl I adore?
It's been awhile since I've seen her but I’ve known her for 2 years she is 21 and I’m 28. We worked together for 10 months and hung out often at work and had great chemistry. Soon as we met she called me every morning for 2 months, and we had a few dates and made out.

She told me she wasn’t over her ex a few times. She was emotional about things when she told me this for the third and final time, she almost burst into tears when she saw me and tried to do everything from actually crying and looked looking guilty. I still contact her at least once every 3 weeks but we aren’t close anymore and EVERYTIME I ask her to meet she made excuses so I’m frustrated.

We spoke months ago and she says I’ve gave up too soon but I waited 10 months and she said we were just friends. She then said she wanted me then and she tried not to like me but just wasn’t over him.

I know recently she had about 2 different guys on the go but she denied this. Some of these were guy friends, and not good looking either.

I’ve moved on a little but my heart still has feelings for her. She likes the typical bad boy and has a new boyfriend now and got engaged. I’ve told her I never stopped having feelings for her. She was gorgeous and funny, and had time for me despite my depression and anxiety which wasn't discussed but I could tell she knew and cared about me. She dressed girly but acted tomboy aswell which was cute. I txt her today for xmas and she called me back on her mums phone. Conversation was awkward because I want her and she was talking about her guy. We both said we missed eachother but I feel shitty

Cut off contact with her, erase her number off your phone and delete her profile on all social media sites you are on. Then do things to keep busy, focus more on something you are already into and/or think about joining a club or taking up a new activity which will keep you buys but at the same time will let you meet some new people. Spend more time with friends and start looking at other girls you may be interested in, it's time to move on from the other girl.
