If you're connected to wi-fi but using the twitter app does it charge?

I recently got the Samsung Galaxy Ace and downloaded the twitter app.When I click on it it gives me the option to use "internet" or "twitter" if I click the twitter option (because it's better) will it start charging me for data or will it still be using WIFI?

It should still use wifi, if you look on settings-> wireless an network settings -> go to the bottom -> untick use packet data
Then you will just be connected to wifi but obv if you want to use contract Internet, you will have to go back and retick it again (: hope this helps!
