Why is facebook not showing my messages?

My computer automatically updated, and after that, I visited my facebook. When I tried to check my messages, the page was blank, only the icons to the left and the facebook search bar appeared. When I tried chatting, it only showed the top of the chat bar(what you would use to click to close the chat bar) and it only says "loading..." When I looked at my notifications and finished checking all of them, they still said I haven't seen ANY of them. Also, when I tried to post a status about it, it would act as if I never posted anything. What can I do to make facebook back to normal?

its Possible it Could be a Browser Display Problem you Can Fix this Easily By Clearing your Cookies and Cachee and Delete Any Temporary Files That you have if that Doesint Work try a Different Browser if the Problem Persists Please Contact Facebook at the Help Center and Report the Problem to them
