What affects us mostly in our lives?

What affects us mostly in our lives?
In daily life we need something to talk to each other; like sports, politics, war, new devices, shows on tv, books, movies, places and people around. Maybe sports or politicians are the first topic in our talks. But are they important to talk about? Anyway this is second part of my question lets get back to first part.

What affects us mostly in our lives?
For us in daily life most serious thing is politics. We seriously watch news like it is the most important thing to know what a politician said or which party is the favourite in elections, something like that. Politicians always argue about democrasy and what people wants. And we celebrate when a party has been first in elections. Think about this: Voting to a party or sharing something on social media like twitter, facebook etc. Which is more effective way to being part in community? Goverments could make us take part in public management or changing laws? Or we can tweet or sending text messages , or writing blog by technologic devices? So when you consider this, goverments can change our lives when we can't take part in it or when they don't know what we think, Or technologic revolution is more affecting our lives?

The pursuit of happiness and the avoidance of pain... lust, greed, doing the right thing, hope, faith, belief, curiosity and the drive to see/do new things, illness... quite a lot of different things really.

We are only ALL only a tiny sliver of Government, having a vote every four years, but that.s just about all, unless we get out there volunteer, and make a difference in some small ways. I do not live my own life putting Face Book Twitter or any other *site in the catagory you mention as important, God goes there!r Our action, words and the way we carry out our personal lives with ourselves, our family in proper relationships IS the best way to create/interact/fix/adjust/contribute to our own society, on an indivigual basis. People notice, and when they do, they want that, to have those qualities, stop looking to the Government to do more than their part actually is. It all starts with each of us, INDIVIDUALLY, the way we rear our family/kids/relationships, in conjunction to the way it's operating on its own. make a certain distinction on that one!.

Sadly most people don't follow politics closely enough to do anything more than roll into a polling place once every two or four years and cast an emotionally driven vote, for the few who actually even bother to vote. It's understandable when you consider how superficial most US "news" is. In order to really have a clue one almost has to have had a background in political science and the will to seek out alternative news sources. For most people I think their family and friends have greater influence on them than politics.
