Please can someone help with with an email problem?

I have an email account with BT which is operated from work, I need to access emails from this account at home on my laptop. I use Orange internet at home and for some reason I cannot send emails from home. BT tell me perhaps my Orange internet is blocking my access to send messages, although I can receive them.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem.

Hi sonners1

If you are sending emails from a non-Orange email address on an Orange broadband connection, you may need to change your outgoing email settings. Instructions on how to do this can be found on our website at http://help.orange.co.uk/orangeuk/suppor...nal/233487 .
