All laptops have graphics cards! You don't know much about computers, do you?

ALL computers have a graphics card. They can NOT display anything on the screen without one. In laptops they are always built into the motherboard and can not be changed. So whatever card it has you are stuck with for life.

Carefully read the description for your laptop and see if you find the word "integrated." If present, that word means you most likely have a graphics *chip* (not a separate card) that uses ("integrates") memory from your 2, or 4 or 8 Gbs of memory carried on-board.

Graphics cards are quite a bit faster at displaying on your screen, since they have separate memory and don't "borrow" memory from your system's standard memory. (Usually laptops configured like this sell for a significantly lower price that laptops containing graphic cards.)

Hope this helps.

EDIT;
@ Colinc and CommonSense:
You are both full of S*H*it, not all laptops have graphic cards, most of the cheap, low end ones only have onboard or integrated graphics, so buzz off idiots.

Durgesh,
Please list your exact model here if you want help.

Or Google for Dell Inspiron <model number> specs.

you are using windows 8, right? Then go to search and search for "run". open the application and type "dxdiag", go to 'display' option and you could see if you have a graphics card.
All computers and laptops have a inbuilt video card, not graphics card.
As for graphics card, you only need to install it's drivers and nothing more it there is a graphics card in your laptop.
You can also go to "properties" of computer, and see your laptop specs.

Hi Durgesh,

My name is Gautam and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell.

You can check the graphic card properties in the system information window. Press the windows key + X ( win + X ) on the keyboard, select run option and type “msinfo32” click “OK” to launch system information. In the system summary window click on the left hand tab click on components and choose display option. In display option you can check the graphic card properties. Adapter type and Adapter ram will be mentioned in the display menu.

Please reply in case you have any further questions.

Regards
Gautam_H
