On wordpress how do you get your blog noticed?

I've liked posts of other peoples, and I have commented on them, but I dont know how to get followers :/
Do i comment and ask them to look at mine?

There are a lot of things you can do but all of them boil down to becoming a participating member of the community your blog is a part of. No matter what topic your blog is about there is a greater community on the internet that is made up of all the people who are interested in the topic your blog is about. Your goal should be to be:
1. Adding value to your community (overall addition of value to the topic your blog is about)
2. Socializing and participating in your community.

You should post comments on other blogs and forums; be active on Social media; actively participate in the different online members of your communities sites, pages, blogs and social platforms all with the intent not of placing a link to you but of participating.
Let your signature tag, profile link or other such linking be the way people can find you. People want to know those who participate and arent interested in people who are only posting as a means of linking to themselves.
