Why is New Years important to people?
It just seems like a holiday that doesn't really need recognition. Seems kinda' pointless to celebrate it. It shouldn't be a holiday, it should just be a woop-de-doo kinda' thing.

Allegedly, a new year is a new start - or some other corny, cliche rubbish that gets spouted every year through television advertisements and social media updates.
I personally see it as a way for companies to get more money out of their puny sub-ordinate customers. Food, booze, some people buy presents, others have parties they need to decorate for... |
