How To Become a Fashion Designer?

I'm already a fashion designing diva, but I want to be the most well known fashion designing diva in the world. You know, everyone fighting at stores for the last of a scarf designed by yours truly, moi. Or Katy Perry and Beyonce twitter fighting over which one gets to wear the yellow dress I designed specifically for the VMAs. How can I become even more glamorous than I already am?

1. Figure out who your target audience is. Once you've figured that out, decide the kind of style you're going to be doing. You can change it up whenever you want to.
2. Come up with a name? Are you going to have a company name? Are you going to just use your name?
3. Create a logo for your name.
4. To be a fashion designer you need to know how to sketch. Take an art class in drawing.
5. Buy mannequins that you can pin your fabric and designs on.
6. Learn to sew clothes.
7. Start making clothes for other people.
8. Participate in fashion designing competitions.
9. Watch Project Runway.
10. Learn about fashion trends.
11. Learn how fashion is being sold. In stores or online? Or both?.
12. Get professional training. Go to college to become a fashion designer. Take a public course.
13. Get an internship. Start out small. You don't have to, but It's a good start.
14. Make a portfolio and a resume.
15. Get inspiration. Watch videos on fashion designing. Read books on fashion designing.
16. This takes a lot of money. I don't think It's mandatory, but it sure helps. Build a building completely dedicated to your company or brand.
17. Once you've built it, get workers. Personal Assistants, Concierges, Janitors, Interns, ect. Whoever you'll need to help you on your journey to success. Send out ads in the newspapers. Spread the word that you need workers.
18. Decide the pay rate. How much will your workers make? They don't make money until you do, so make sure that they understand that they may be working for very little at first. Then it'll get bigger and bigger as you get bigger and bigger.
19. Pick a selection of clothes. Come up with a whole bunch of clothes. Like 100 outfits. That will be in your first clothing line. And since It's your first, it HAS to be big!
20. You can't get too far ahead of yourself. Register your brand/company name. Make sure you get all the legal documents you need. You don't want anyone stealing your name right? And if they do, you can sue the **** out of them.
21. Create a website for your company/brand. Decorate it! Make it look nice. Put contact info in it!
22. Contact infooooo...... You'll also need to get a number to wherever your company/brand is located. Create an email address for it. Of course you'll have office workers to answer all of those calls and emails.
23. Get models. They don't have to be professional. You can find models right off the streets! Have professionals train them! Make sure they can fit all the clothes that they'll be modeling.
24. Get the contact info of the models. When you make more clothing lines, you might want to use some of the models you used before.
25. Take photo shoots. If you're going to sell your clothes online, you'll need pictures to show what the costumers are buying, right? Don't put it up until after the fashion show. You don't wanna give anything away!
26. Start preparing for a fashion show. Get it put in newspapers, magazines, on the radio, on famous bloggers websites, ect. Ge the message out there.
27. Try and get your show televised.
28. Get a makeup artist to make the models look runway ready!
29. Sent out as many invites as possible!
30. If anyone else wants to go without an invite, make sure they know that they'll have to pay.
31. Make sure that there's food there. People get hungry. But if they want food, make sure that they PAY!
32. Put on the fashion show!
33. Put up the fashions on your website for people to buy.
34. Let the money roll in.
