I'm having trouble with the Firefox Quick Find feature. PLEASE HELP ME?

Every freaking time I try to type an apostrophe in a message on twitter for example, the quick find bar pops up. I have tried the Tools>Advanced> Uncheck the box method, and the also the about:config method. Neither have worked. Please help because it drives me insane

Try this

Tools > Options > Advanced > General and deselect Search for text when I start typing.

Or this

Enter about:config in the Firefox URL line and click Go.

Select the line starting accessibilty.typeaheadfind and double click it until the Value field is false.
