How do I fix the world?

Lets admit it: the world sucks now. Everyone is apathetic and only looks after #1. They treat others horribly. 12 year olds are getting pregnant. Little kids look up to reality tv stars as role models (seriously, what's up with that?!). Mainstream music is so soulless and identical that it makes me wanna barf. The fashion nowadays isn't original or cool at all. All of the other teens my age only care about lame and useless junk like Facebook, twitter, and Instagram. Pre-teen girls have extremely disturbing obsessions with talentless hacks like Justin Beiber, One Direction, Nicki minaj etc. 16 year olds don't know elementary school level vocabulary. People are so idiotic nowadays and it annoys the hell out of me. I want to fix everything and show everyone how stupid they're being right now. So how do I fix the world?

Don't just focus on all the bad things in the world. If you take the glass half full approach, you would see that the world is a better place than it has ever been and it will only continue to get better.

Fix the world by becoming a tyrannical dictator and intellectual elitist, then exterminating anyone who doesn't meet your impossibly exacting requirements and living the rest of your life as the only surviving human on the planet. Whether or not you want to kill anyone, the only way you can make them do what you want is to have power, and the only way to get power is to show that you can do whatever you want to them and they can't do a thing about it. If you're benevolent and merciful, you lose your power over the people you want to change in the first place.

Edit 2: Honestly, I would like the world to be a better place too, it's just not realistically within the abilities of one man. There are decades of social inertia working against it with millions of people behind it. All we can do is try to keep it creaking along until a new generation looks at its parents with disgust and becomes as close to its polar opposite as possible. It happens; where do you think the hippies came from?
