I have been working on my own personal site for a while now. This site will be for all the things I do such as web site building, my music, 3D CAD models, and what ever else I can do. Well iv been spending all my time making the fun things but now I have to get down to making the content! The first page im gonna be making is the index page. I have no idea what i should do on it! Iv gotten my facebook like box thing but idk what else i should put on there?! the site is http://www.tomascordero.com

Creating your own website can be useful for a number of purposes. Whether it's to share your expertise on a particular topic, foster the people, or just maintain an online journal of your activities, having a website will allow you to make your content accessible from any connected computer. It can also tentatively allow you to have a larger audience for your ideas than you would ever have otherwise. If you have useful ideas or annotations to share, you may be able to share them with as many as a few dozen people throughout the day, if you are propitious. With a website, you can share them with hundreds or even thousands.Possibly the easiest way to create your own website is to use an online site creation tool. These services often provide intuitive interface for adding text, images, links, and other bits of content to a webpage. Many of these tools have a UYHGHL web design platform, which means "What You See is What You Get" — what you create in the design interface is what your visitors will see.

On your main page is a selling page really it gives your customers loads of SHORT samples of whats on offer. You can do CAD design so put a short paragraph in that with a sample you build websites again a small sample of that. How about a slide show to demonstrate a few images of your work.

Like I said the index is all about making the customer aware of what the site does what it offers but the trick is to do so with very little content IE make them interested to browse your site. Don't give away too much detail.
