I find it funny how you state that we are increasing laws yet decreasing God in schools. If stricter laws are in place in the absence of God there will be real world consequences for things going against those laws. This is for the protection of society and is how creatures living in social groups act. It is how creatures living in social groups are able to survive. It is what gives us our morals that believers claim come from God. If we didn't have societal morals humans would not have survived. Compare that to only have belief in God and no laws. There would be no real world consequences aside from lynch mobs. That is the society people like you would like to live in is it?

If the teachers had access to a weapon they'd have been able to stop him before he killed so many innocents. Its so so so sad, but the answer is not to illegalise weapons for our self defense.
