Should the government force Google and other tech firms to drug-test their employees?
Right now, most of the highest-paying tech firms like Google, Facebook, Apple, etc. simply do not drug test their employees or their job applicants AT ALL. They just completely fail to do it. Even if the people are in sensitive data-security or physical engineering positions.

This sets a bad example for the kids, because they see lots of low-level employees in crappy jobs getting tested, but not the tech firm employees, or law firm employees, or so on. So they get the impression that drug-testing is low-class, and that drugs are cool.

If the government forces Google and these other companies to use drug-testing, don't you think it would be good for American society as a whole?

Besides, why would you want a druggie or a stoner coding your software? No wonder software these days is full of bugs and virus.

I think drug test should be for people who's job, (if not done right) could get people hurt. Bus drivers, cops, CONGRESSMEN!
