Laptop getting turned off automatically?
my 4 yr old dell studio, turns off automatically, when i play video files or play games... its battery life is over, so i work on laptop using power cord.... can someone please help me in resolving the issue ???

I have this problem on my PC too.while playing video games.but no one give me the correct answer.

Perhaps it's an overheating issue, games/videos can sometimes be quite cpu intensive..

Your laptop might be overheating. Check if any section overeats. If not, you can try checking in the system monitor. If you share your Operating System version, I could guide you as to how to check for reasons.
