I have my parents on my facebook and they added me to their "close friends" list so they can see every single thing that I do. It wouldn't bother me as much if they didn't question me about my friendship with every one of my friends or why I "like" a picture that is posted that is a quote or maybe even a picture of a shirtless Channing Tatum.

Before you posting a status, use the audience selector tool and select custom, there is an option, hide from these people, enter your parents name there and save it. then post your status, your parents wont see that status.
