How Do I Stop Stumbling All Over My Words?
I'm currently an elementary education and special education dual major. I'm going to student teacher next spring and graduate right after. My teachers say I'm great with kids and I know how to make lessons interesting and meaningful to the classroom while keeping an eye on the standards. However, I've always had this stuttering and stammering problem that comes and goes. I don't want this to interfere with my work. I mean, how embarrassing would it be if I were to stumble all over my words when story-time rolled around?
Is there anyone would could help me with my problem? Any tips? Recommendations? Anything? Ads |

Try to slow down your speech a bit. Not too much, but enough to give you a bit more time to think about what you're going to say.

It dosen't matter if you stumble over your words, my current teacher has a lisp and stumbles over his words but no one cares! As long as you put knowledge in there heads it dosen't matter.
