My older brother and he hates me for the way i found out!!?

So i knew that my brother has been acting weird for the past few months so i decided to do something (i know its not right) but i decided to look through his room. I looked on his laptop. Found nothing. Looked in his backpack. Found nothing. Then i looked at his ipad (which he texts from) and when i looked through his messages, i found out that he was doing drugs. He does weed, keif and drinks too. (Btw he is 17) and the thing is that he is going to college next year and this could ruin everything for him. I told my parents a few months ago but they didnt listen to me. They just punished me for going trough his stuff and that he was just joking around probably. The, we went on a cruise and one day, i was in his room by myself and he left his phone there. I knew his password and i was still worried so i decided to look through it. Thats when i found out that he smoked. Again, i told my parents and they STILL refused to believe me. So 2 weeks ago, he started going to his friends house everyday of the week (he has a car) and he wouldnt come home until like 11:30 at night. When he would come home, there would be this disgusting smell and i didnt know what it was but he smelled really bad. And it wasnt like body odor. Now i start to get really worried. So 2 days ago, he let me use his ipad to look up a brownie recipie. When i unlocked his ipad, his messages were open and i found out that he smokes and drinks and has stuff like weed firecrackers and stuff. I have seen tv shows of what happens to people when they do weed so i get really really really concerned. At this point, i dont care how much my parents punish me so i showed them the messages and showed his twitter and pics of him and his friends. So they actually believed me and they say that they are doing stuff about it but i dont believe them. They say that they cant do anything to stop him. But i know that rhere has to be something (he wont go rehab) He js going to college and he will end up ruining everything

You did a great thing for your brother. But one of the things that you should have done is to talk to him, not just spy upon him like you're his neighbour.
But still you did a very good thing.
Your parents will take some actions about it surely, that kid is their son. Every parent would do something about it, even the worst ones.

He doesn't need rehab for pot and drinking lol. This is normal teenage stuff, most teenagers do this. Or, they start in college. Just back off and stop being so nosy. You told your parents, and its in their hands now. If they do or don't do anything about it, then thats their own business and you should just worry about yourself.
