Is Facebook the end of human relationships?
People seem shocked if you come up and talk to them these days. My friendships have been so incredibly lazy that none of my friends come see me or wish me a happy birthday in person. Its all posted on my wall. People learn everything about you, so hanging out no longer becomes necessary and in a sense is obsolete.

When anyone actually does communicate to through Facebook, its usually to argue about something political or something they aren't ok with be said. So we all argue and say things that would just be horrible and embarrassing to say in person. People become big a-holes online.

I want to delete my facebook, but now psychologists are saying not having a facebook means that you are a psychopath. So in order to not be a psychopath, I have to keep a facebook and be weirded out by people expressing their emotions in postings that really should be out in public. Facebook is just creepy and I've seen my personal relationships crumble over the years, because of it. In fact nothing is creepier than being friends with people twice your age and seeing them act like teenagers.

Is Facebook the end? In the future is being anti-social going to be the social? Are we all going to become passive aggressive nuts? Oh the irony of a social network.
Excuse my typos.
I haven't added pictures to my Facebook for 4 years, because posting pictures of myself seems idiotic and juvenile.
@whoami...Clubs are not a place to meet people. Its a place to screw drunk who r es you'll never see again, but that's about it. Its not a place to meet people. I have friends, but they are all regressing into their facebook profiles. People are starting to become boring in real life, because they aren't use to socializing anywhere but on the internet. People also don't filter their thoughts online and just post horrible, creepy, and pathetic things.

Texting is the end of human relationships. Facebook is an accessory

you are not a psychopath for not having facebook. If psychologists are saying that then they are idiots who like to act smart cause they have degrees. Technology is general has ruined socializing . Everyone in my college courses is texting when the teacher is not around, no one is socializing . You must go to areas where people are looking to meet new people in person. Such as a club where everyone has similar interests . Facebook is not your problem, your problem stems much deeper, a social issue something you don't want to admit or something you don't know exists . I don't know you so i can't say for sure , i have social anxiety and avoid social situations for that's why i have no social life.

Here is my opinion: I believe all social networking (and perhaps even the Internet in general) leads to the end of human relationships eventually, due to the lack of discipline. However, this can be disputed, for, it really depends on the Facebook user himself. I have numerous confidants who all have no problem whatsoever with Facebook itself, concerning human relationships. Facebook is a way to kind of "navigate" through thoughts of others, and although you do have an excellent point (that people can share horrible opinions that they won't say face-to-face), that point can be twisted positively. For those who aren't the most outgoing or social are given the opportunity to share more of their talents and abilities whilst feeling confident.

About psychologists believing that those without Facebook accounts are psychopaths- I don't have a Facebook account, and I'm perfectly normal. I have a perfectly normal social life as well, thank you very much. Aren't "psychopaths" a name too drastic to brand one? It's a stereotype, for goodness' sake, and not even a valid one! Millions of people in China don't have Facebook due to the ban in China, but does that necessarily make them psychopaths? Of course, there are exceptions, but you get my point. If you dislike Facebook, then delete your account, for goodness' sake!

If you are so affected by others posting weird stuff- and I say this with all due respect- then DON'T USE FACEBOOK! It's freedom of speech, and we can't do anything about it, so just ignore it!

Whether or not to use Facebook depends on the person itself.

And regarding your last question... maybe. I don't know. We'll just have to see.

Note: I apologize in advance concerning any grammatical errors I might have made, for I am typing this rather quickly.

Would you really agree with psychologists if they would put you in the psychopath's list? Of course not, you won't believe them. So why do you believe that FB is everything, even though you really know that it's nothing!!

Follow your heart & do what would make you happy. If deleting your FB account would make you content, then just do it now, What are you waiting for?

Remember a wise saying & apply it in every sphere of your life:
"There is no wrong time for doing a Right thing... And there is no right time for doing a Wrong thing"
