Why has my iPhone contract bill amount increased?

I have an iPhone 4S on orange contract and a few months my bill has went up a few pounds? My dad phoned and asked why and they said it was picture messages ( I had sent a few) but then this month I hadn't sent non and the bills up again? Any suggestions?!

You could be using too much data on your phone . It happens to a lot of people /:

If you exceed your text limit or save a picture from an email or web page or exceed your phone minutes your bill goes up. If you go online for things like Facebook or twitter it eats up your data limit fast too and anything over your limit is charged on top of your normal bill.

Remember on a cell phone the phone call minutes a are not just the calls you make they are also the ones you receive. They all get added and applied to your plan minutes.
