Free links and traffic by setting up your own profile. If you are buying ads, you can get a lot of exposure, and the click-through rate isn't too bad as long as the ad targeting is decent.

For instance, you can set up a personal or business profile on my new site http://www.opcot.com, and place links back to your site from your profile. If you want more then free links, then make some friends and visit their profiles and leave comments. They will do the same for you, and chances are that they will check out your sites.
