Can I use Ning as platform for my social networking site to make money from Ads?

I want to build a social networking website base on NING platform. I know there is a premium service I can purchase to control the ads on my site. But Can I run my own ad campaign for 3rd party ad that I picked and make money on it.

Nope i don't think that u are able to get money from Ning ads But you could try http://www.socialgo.com though it does not have that much Design u could put your 3rd party widget on the home page
