whats going on with this muslim thing i dont really listen to news or barely go on facebook or watch tv im always outside with my friends and latley i have been hearing about this film about muslim the movie is now quiet old i have not seen it yet though anways the other day my friend was saying that muslims did 9/11 and that there terroist now correct me if i am wrong but is'nt a terrorist a person who terroissees things when i said that to my friend he said 'no a terroist is someone who is muslim' . i have a lot of muslim friends does this mean they are terroist, they are pretty nice and everything and they like socccer should i still play with them and when people say muslims did 9/11 how did 1.5 million people blow up those towers

The problem is that the World is getting it's impressions of Islam because of the actions of the Extremists while the Moderates sit by quietly. If more Moderates would denounce the actions of the Extremists who are distorting Muslim beliefs, people would have a better understanding. People of every religion have good and bad people. US prisons are full of hard core criminals and murderers and drug pushers. Muslims do not say that all Americans are criminals but they constantly give example of bad people amongst Muslims and call all Muslims terrorists and their religion Islam a violent religion. So I shall focus on this topic by trying to reveal the real Islam, you know most some people think Jihad, bomb this building bomb that building, but that’s not true. Many of the terrorists’ acts are committed in this world by people who call themselves religious, and attribute their horrendous and evil acts to the religion. However, God condemns their acts in the scripture. The true religion of Islam forbids the killing of innocent people, irrespective of the cause—religious, political or social beliefs. This is stated in the Quran, the holy book of Muslims. Quran 6:151] “...You shall not kill — GOD has made life sacred — except in the course of justice. These are His commandments to you that you may understand.”The laws of the scriptures that apply to the Christians and Jews are repeated and emphasized for the Muslims also. [Quran 5:32] “...we decreed for the Children of Israel that anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or horrendous crimes, it shall be as if he murdered all the people. And anyone who spares a life, it shall be as if he spared the lives of all the people. ...” This is the biggest misconception in Islam, no doubt resulting from the constant stereotyping and bashing the media gives Islam. When a gunman attacks a mosque in the name of Judaism, a Catholic IRguerrilla sets off a bomb in an urban area, or Serbian Orthodox militiamen kills innocent Muslim civilians, these acts are not used to stereotype an entire faith. Never are these acts attributed to the religion of the perpetrators. Yet how many times have we heard the words 'Islamic, Muslim fundamentalist. etc.' linked with violence. Often dictators and politicians will use the name of Islam for their own purposes. One should remember to go to the source of Islam and separate what the true religion of Islam says from what is portrayed in the media. Islam literally means 'submission to God' and is derived from a root word meaning 'peace'. Most people in this day and age are confused about Islam. The people that blow themselves up along with others, saying its Jihad, that is totally wrong, and against Islam. First: Killing yourself is suicide-Really bad in Islam. Second: Killing others- innocent people. Third: Its mass murder. That is not what Islam teaches. Most people in this day and age are confused about Islam. This is Islam. What Muslims do, what acts they commit, do not change what Islam is. Of course there are Muslims who do bad things, human beings are not perfect.
