We're no longer number 1 unless you're talking about fat people and military weapons.

I think the way to do it is to look at places that are still awesome like liberal Austin, TX and Massachusetts. Awesome because they are great places to live and rank high in education, median incomes, low poverty, etc, etc.

We should emulate these parts of the country and NOT emulate the crappy conservative parts of America with the most fat and least educated people like Mississippi and Alabama.

Why America is best in every way.
1.Best military. We have 13 aircraft carriers, the same amount as every other country in the entire world combined with 4 new carriers coming out soon. The USS Gerald Ford will be the newest addition and it is an eleven billion dollar, 100,000 ton diplomatic enforcer. This massive warship is over a thousand feet long and adds 4.3 acres to sovereign US territory. The next country behind us has 2 carriers that are 50 years old. Our navy is larger and more powerful than the top 13 countries in the world combined. We don’t have the most man power, but we have the best trained army in the world (meaning the training and quality of training per soldier on average is more than any other military in the world), along with the best special units in the world (SEALS, Delta force, Marine Recon, Rangers), along with the best technology in the world. Best anti-missile defenses, best fighter classes (f-22), best bomber (b-52) most extensive space research and development. Best weapons and tactics. Best tanks, Bradley and Abrams. We also have the world’s third highest oil reserve. All of this is only 13% of our government spending. So we have the capability to produce these expensive and technologically advanced machines at a wartime pace.
2.Best economy. Economy is how much we earn annually not how fast the economy itself is growing. We earn 14 trillion a year and china earns 7 trillion a year. Countries are allowing us to borrow money because they know our economy will recover and we will pay them back (Mexico owes us money). We also have the best space program because we can afford it. We have the most satellites and people on the moon. We are the only country in the world to successfully land on mars and we have done it 9 times. We own 40% of the world’s food supply. How can a country with 7 times the population of America (china) only feed their people rice, and not a lot of it? They wouldn’t be able to feed their army for a month while fully deployed
3.Living standard. Chinas oppressive government does not allow Facebook twitter or YouTube in fear that the people will see what a normal living standard is. They have jailed people for writing poems that seem to “revolutionary”. The government is afraid of its people because if the people find out their living standard is shit and that it’s not normal to get paid 10 cents an hour they will rebel. It’s only a matter of time before this happens. Out of the top 20 most polluted cities in the world, 10 of them are in china. They are overcrowded and have no environmental regulations in place to regulate companies or factories (which also contributes to their fast, yet unsafe and temporary growth).
To sum things up, I’m proud to live in the most powerful country the existence of man has ever witnessed.
