Dell Inspiron 15" no boot?
Will boot in safe mode. With an external monitor. Doesn't seem to recognize the flat panel LCD monitor attached to laptop itself. Dell diagnostics asked me if I could see color bars I said yes. Can't seem to find errors. Voltage seems normal... Fan speed and temp seem normal. Not sure what the issue is? Any ideas?

dell has diagnostics lights even on a laptop i will have to look it because i am not at my shop but if you look just above the keyboard where the media button and the power button is you will see 3 pictures of locks num lock and cap lock that is the diagnostics light i will get back to you on the code list. Ok i post a link that might help you. When the web site says led on of flashing they are talking about the 3 little locks above the key board

Hello,
My name is Krishna and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Based on the above symptoms, It is more likely that you have a bad video card or corrupted video drivers. Try downloading and installing the latest video drivers and see if it helps. You can visit the Dell Drivers and Downloads website http://www.support.dell.com/ and input your Service Tag to get updated drivers specific to your computer.

Also, If you want to e-mail me your Service Tag number and current shipping address, I can have a look at your warranty status to see what options we have. You can reach me at Krishna_KRN@Dell.com

Regards,
Dell-Kris K
