Q about the Autralian reporters who did the Queen of the UK phone joke to the nurse who commited suicide?
After a shocking event, there' a series of reactions, first shock, then denial, then anger, then depression, etc. Of course every person is different coping with trauma, but I guess if this could be accurate in this case:

1-shock. "oppsss, we went too far in our joke".
2-shame and guilt. "we lead this woman to suicide for a stupid joke"
3-speculation, or damage control "okay, now what? can we use it to get more publicity?"
4-fear. "we got fired, and we are getting death threats on social networks....it looks it's time to pack our bags and take a long vacaion somewhere remote"
5-hate "why this woman had to kill herself? look what this stupid nurse has done to us!"

Do you think this chain of events could happen? The victim (the nurse) being blamed for their mistake? In psychology there's this phenomena saying the agressor will never forgive his vistim. The victim is a reminder of the agressor's fault, so that's why the agressor keeps blaming the victim over and over. (I am not a psychologist, just interested on the subject)

What do you think?

She only answered the phone and passed the call onto the ward. That's all. It was the (unnamed)ward nurse who was fooled the most as she passed on private facts about Kate and that she was leaving next day (surely of great help to a terrorist?) We don't know why the first nurse felt she had to hang herself. She has left several notes so we may find out at some time ? I think the hospital must review the giving out of medical facts on the phone about anyone.

Anyone remember the Ross and Brand prank?
How about the Spanish radio when they phone Ronaldo pretending to be Real Madrid?

These actually affected the persons publicly.
No one knew about what the nurse had done who who she was until someone informed the media!!

Sorry, but this was a disturbed person anyway! people are forgetting the real victims here are the children she left behind....she never had to have done what she did!! NOT IN THIS country!

These two people are not reporters, they are DJ's, radio entertainers. The nurse killed herself, the two DJ's are guilty of a stupid, purile joke but are not responsible for a person taking her own life.To suggest they are is offensive to the memory of the nurse who, after all, had free will.

I havn't heard the two DJs blame the nurse who killed herself. What have you heard?

There is no need for psychology required in this and other acts of hurting people, these two morons were looking for publicity and did not even consider that their vile actions could have led to a death or even getting the sack because of their actions.
You are right though Their actions have been justified as Oops we went too far, then when the furore in the media and the public backlash they acted out their "heartbreak " in their well choreographed interview , I saw nothing which suggested they even cared about the results of their actions other than what happened to them, stupid selfish cruel is what it was and they deserve everything bad that comes their way.
The fact the Radio Station donated money to the bereaved nurse is obscene and far far too late money will not bring Jacintha Saldana back to spend Christmas with her two children. They will never have their mum in their lives this radio station and the two DJs lives will continue as before and that is the tragedy.
