Hi Simon,

Your site looks good but I couldn't see any links of any social media sites on it. First I would advise you to link them to your site if you have any by your company name but if you don't it will be useful to create one. Just because you create a website, you will not be able to reach up to your target audience. You need to spread the name around. The best way to do it is to have Search engine optimizing strategy and a social media marketing strategy.

As for the SEO you can follow an onsite SEO strategy as below,
1)Update keyword research.
2)Update title tags and content.
3)Add New blog posts in the site which is 0 in yours.
4)Run an SEO diagnostic.
5)Set up a good internal linking system. It is recommended to display links to your top lead-generating pages in the footer of your site, using keywords in the anchor text of the links.

As for offsite SEO
1)Remove bad back links as the ones coming from content farms, ad sites, and other sources with bad online reputations (if you know of any).
2)Do guest posts
3)Update directory listings.
4)Update social media profiles

In general here is what you could also do:
Register your URL on all the major search engines (including Google.com and Yahoo.com) to make sure your site shows up in relevant searches. Include keywords in meta tags in HTML files to increase the chances of getting hits from search engines. You can also advertise your Web site on heavily trafficked sites and through banner swaps. You can also get listed in local directories and on referral Web sites.

You can also market through social media marketing and email marketing. Use social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google plus to reach new audience. Daily posts that are interesting will capture new audience and you've got to keep doing it continuously and I'm sure you will get dividends. But do not expect results in a week or two as it may take two to three months for the whole process achieving new audience and get leads that could be converted to actual customers who will buy from you.

You maybe having a list of emails of your previous customers where you can use them to inform your new promotions. You can also target customers and locate their emails and inform them about your site through email/ newsletter.

Hi Simon,

Technology is a very competitive niche, however it is also very sort after. Do you mind telling me what sort of marketing you have been doing?

The world is your oyster and there are enough pearls to go around if you have an internet connection. Here are a few tips that will definitely help:

1- Do keyword research using Google Adwords and be sure to use medium/low competition keywords
2- Write articles on the technology and computing you do (be helpful)
3- write blog posts of those articles (i prefer blogs on the website but its up to you)
4- produce videos but dont only upload them on youtube (youtube is the biggest but there is a ton of sites out there) be sure to optimize your videos!
5- make podcast of you videos
6- make use of forums in your niche and be helpful (interaction is key)
7- social media networking (twitter, linkedin and facebook)
8- comment on blog posts which are related to you niche.

Th key is not spamming but creating unique content that your followers will love and make them come back.
