At first India is a country of Rich culture and civilization .... Western civilization lacks the culture as compared with Indian culture .... Thats the main strong point of Indian civilization

If Indian civilization is superior to western, then why are we poor? Why are there kids on the street dying with hunger and we still keep making babies? Media and politicians project our Indian culture and society is the best. I am proud to be a Indian but yes we have lots of social political and grass root level problems. Remember we are still a developing country.
In western culture people are more happier. People believe in giving back to society. Rich in the country like Bill Gates give back to poor. Look how much Bill Gates has given donation to poor in Bihar. But our Ambani who makes money off of ordinary Indians, fails to give back to same Indian society?
Arrange marriage still continues to be practiced in India widely. Arrange marriages are practiced in Middle eastern countries and parts of Africa. All the western countries have love marriage. People in love marriage no necessarily earn lots of money or are successful with having kids, but are more happier. In arrange marriage people are busy bragging how much rich their family is. Just because of low divorce rate does not mean people are more happier. Look at Afghanistan they have much more arrange marriage and successful marriages does not mean they are happier than India?
Again westernization of India does not mean we are loosing our culture. Westernization does not stop you from celebrating our festivals and rituals. Westernization stops you from bad treatment of women, stops you from dowry and appreciating each others festivals and life in general.
Again rich culture means more restrictions. Casteism and dowry. More stricter rules for women and society mean less freedom and less happiness. So take the good things from western society. Goodluck!
