I need help with this guy.?

Basically there's this guy at my school that my friend used to speak to and like, he's quite goodlooking. I had him on bbm and twitter but when I recently searched him I couldn't find him anywhere there's some parties coming up but I don't know if I'll have the courage to speak to him..

Anyone give me tips on how to get him interested in me or start talking to him without seeming like a stalker?

I would just go up to him and say oh do you know _____ that would be your friends name and then start a conversation then say oh there's a party coming up and you should go and give him the details. You can't be scared if your scared then one day you won't have the chance to do it. We're all afraid of the heart break but we never think of what happens if he says yes.
