How do I learn Wordpress from Adobe Contribute?
I have a Final Pro Laptop that I purchased from a website developer that has the entire Adobe Creative Suite 7 on it. I never really used it. I've recently decided to get into social media networking and want to learn Wordpress. As I downloaded it into my computer, I learned that it was already integrated into my computer's Adobe Contribute. At some point I DO want to learn Adobe but I really want to get the nuts and bolts of Wordpress first. What should I do?

At this point I would suggest you not try to learn an Adobe product and WordPress at the same time. WordPress is internet software. Although you can set up a simulated online environment on your computer, it is much easier to just work with WordPress online so you can see not only how the functions work but how they interact in a live environment. WordPress is designed so that there are not many ways you can really break anything by playing around with it. Worst case scenario you can delete(uninstall) it all, re-install it and start over.
With that said ultimately you are going to need a hosting account. Nothing fancy, in this case you can pretty much find the cheapest and use that. You could start out by using the free WordPress at wordpress.com but long term you want to own the site you create and not be limited by the things that you will not be allowed to do in the free environment.
Most host accounts these days have Fantastico other other free software installer which will allow you to install WordPress with the press of a button.
Like I said from there just play around with it - try making some pages and posts and installing a different theme and so on. When you are ready for it there are a ton of online tutorial both free and paid for how to use WordPress.

Have fun and welcome to the world of WP!
