How do get rid of rude and degrading advertisements on your computer?
Whenever I go to YouTube, Facebook or sites for homework help I always see these disgusting advertisements of almost-naked women. How do I get rid of it?

Hi there !
Adsweep will perform the job.
If you are on firefox, follow the instructions below:
1. Download and install 'greasemonkey' extension
2. Restart firefox
3. Go to this link: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/40933
4. Click install and wait for it to install
5. Now you won't be able to see any annoying advertisement

If you are on google chrome, this website might help you:

Supernova is 100% right
Firefox browser, with adblockplus stops almost all ads

With no script as well ads are blocked 100% (its what I use)

With no script it will take a while to teach it what to allow, - most scripts are blocked initially but it is very, very good and makes browsing faster, safer and much more pleasant

I would start with adblockplus (ADP) and then add no-script if you want

Firefox and all the add-ons are free
