I see nothing that could not be a twitter post. How and why did it bring out the city girl in you. What does that even mean. You should try to make me want to know and then put me there in your experience. I know nothing of what went on there. Writing involves more than a sentence.

It loads kinda slow which can lose visitors and search ranking, taking 35 seconds for the background to finally load. The home page files add up to about 1.5mb with .5mb of it in one script file 208818799-lbx_en-GB.js I see it's Google provided, created in 2007-8, that's a lot of code and might be a slowing factor, might be unique to that template.

Google's internal guidelines for their properties is to load in 1/2 second. Over 10 second load times is a serious problem that can bounce a fair number of users. I would say lose the photo look background, better performance can require some design compromises.

If you have any ambitions to possibly grow this to something significant that attracts thousands of visitors and some revenue, I would recommend distilling the focus of the site and not make it a hodge podge diary, you can have more than one blog, each on a specific topic, looking like an original photography gallery and a fashion site. Consolidating the subject matter can strength search ranking and better deliveries what people expect they will find.
