If you were not in prison you would not need files. I don't think Pagans are stupid and Christmas is a wonderful time even for non believers like me.When you get out you should lighten up and learn to use e mail. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

NO, they hire a lot of extra staff during that season and CREATE JOBS for students. I had some very much needed, good, honest, extra money from WORKING between semesters during my University years, thanks to all the extra mail and Christmas cards. I have since graduated university, and still smart, and Christian too.
God bless you.

PS- IF it was something critical and URGENT, then you should have asked for it to be sent by some form of special delivery which goes by different names by different post services, rather than regular mail.

Too true, although to be specific it is a Roman Catholic holiday adopted and blended with the pagan festival of Saturnalia, not Christian in origin at all. As you pointed out however, too many "Christians" profess to be saved yet shelve their Bibles (if they ever open them at all) for the festivities and gluttony of the world.
For those of us Christians who actually read their Bibles and take such clear-cut passages such as Jeremiah 10:2-4, as God meant them...literally (imagine that?!)

Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

God tells us that this is a practice of heathen people, and that it is a vain one at that, meaning not pleasing to God. Furthermore, scripture teaches that those that love the things of the world more than the things of God, are his enemies. (James 4:4) There is no big biblical, yearly remembrance or celebration regarding Christs birth. If a Christian wants to do something pleasing to God to commemorate the birth of Christ...invite unsaved family and friends over for supper and read the story of Christ's birth and the reason he became flesh, God with us,(Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23), for each one of them.

Thank you for reminding us who profess to be Christians, that we must read and study only God's Word to know his will, rather than pleasing our flesh and doing the will of the world instead.
