Are women more likely to invest in the Facebook IPO than men?
Women tend to be more socially inclined than men. FB is a "social media." See the connection?

That's just ridiculous. I am extremely offended that you said that.
Happier than pig in sh*t! What's happier than a pig in sh*t? Ok, happier than a horny virgin in a harem. Ads |

FB bores the crap out of me and I'd rather invest in Apple.

I don't think I'll be able to afford it. Not many people would have the opportunity, I don't think. No, I think men would be more inclined to invest in the IPO because it's tech at it's core, so therefore more men would have the monetary resources and be more inclined to purchase it because it is tech.

Actually, "conventional wisdom" (take with a grain of salt) says that women tend to be much more conservative investors than men. They certainly tend to invest less funds in more places.
Investing in an IPO tends to be something that only people who watch the market's every move (or people associated with the company going public) do - and most of them are men. That is changing. |
