Deep trouble at school.?
The school saw a pic of bud i put up on instagram cause some kid snitched on me. In the pic i put up, i tagged one of my boys and he got called down to the office and he got in a trouble but i didnt. Today i went to school for the first day cause i was absent for monday and tues. they didnt call me down but its sketchy cause he got introuble and was interrogated cause he was tagged and i didnt get in trouble even tho i put the pic up. The snitch gave up my Instagram and my friend who was tagged in a smoking pic got penalized but not me. What should i do in school tomorrow as it being my second day back and why do you think this happened ?

He coulda took the blame. Said he had your phone and took the pic. And said u had nothing to do with it. Or they could be trying to ease you into school and just show up at your class. Just lay low if can talk to your friend see what's up try and match your stories

Sounds like your boy has had your back even though he got some fairly real interrogation. You might want to try to talk to your boy and come to a joint decision. Sometimes, it is better to let dogs lie and thank your lucky stars that things didn't go any further. Other times, it is better for everyone involved to come clean. Other times, it is a draw; often when it is a draw, over time it is beneficial to have taken the high road and claimed your own part.

The more important issue here though is, what have you all learned? Ideally, you have learned that there is no privacy in the world of social media. Not only is there no privacy but, search engines and data bases make it all the easier to find postings about any one individual or any one topic. Further, as things progress it is possible to determine every site, page, and link activated on the internet. As we move towards cloud computing, even more will be done in a public forum protected only by procedure and password. You don't want to post or place anything in/on a social site that you would not be willing to print on a full sized 8.5"x11" piece of paper and pin to the front of your shirt. Likewise, you don't want to post anything that you wouldn't want to openly tell your parents, any authority figure, potential future dates, potential future employers, potential future children, and so on; "potential future" because once they dig up your posts, you may find that the potential has ended.

For the time being, consider anything you post, tweet, or give to an individual via phone or computer to be safe enough to share that you are willing to present it at a whole school assembly. - In our area, we recently have a situation in which a girl sent her boyfriend some pictures over her phone. He sent the pictures to his best friend who sent them on to someone else. PDQ much of the entire school and others saw those pictures. Needless to say, the girl broke up with the guy, the guy got in trouble at school, the girl was transferred to a different school, and the police are investigating whether or not to charge those involved. Of course the only charges available to the police are sex crime related from generating child pornography to assorted types of distribution and possession; these carry life-long sex offender registration requirements..... Within the law, pretty much everyone who had the pictures in their possession or sent them on are subject to potential criminal charges.

While you are mumbling less than pleasantries about the kid that snitched you out, don't forget to include some diatribe about your own Instagram activity. Placing less than ideal depictions is not unlike the armed robber running away from a convenience store robbery in light-up tennis shoes a night. It's not too much different than the house burglar who posted boastings and pictures of the houses he hit and the items he obtained; needless to say the police had all the information they needed to complete their investigation and make an arrest. Job application, college application, and the amorous relationship rejections do occur as a result of internet searches; including those of activities during time somewhat previous.
