How to get rid of a notification on Facebook?

Well someone posted a really embarrasing status about me falling when i got off the bus stop i mean it was funny but i don't want my parents knowing about it because they will tease me for ages

so how do i get rid of that notificationg saying so and so was with me please i don't want my parents to see it as they like to stalk my page please help me

Hey, if they posted that status on their wall and tagged you in it, then it must appear on your Facebook wall too. Just go to the upper right side of the status, where you will see the "Edit or remove" pen and from the list there, choose any of those options:
Hide from timeline
Delete
Report/Mark as spam
